COGLAPEST^® is the unique attenuated live vaccine containing the Thiverval strain. The protection is fast, strong and long lasting. The potency of the vaccine (1000 PD 50) is ten times higher than the minimum potency required by the OIE. Thus COGLAPEST^®  induces a good homogenous protection and hence provide better protection in the presence of immune-tolerance piglets. These strong qualities explain why professional farmers prefer this vaccine to protect their farms in many Asian countries. A coloured indicator allows monitoring the diluent quality for optimized vaccine efficiency.

PROPERTIES
COGLAPEST^® is an attenuated vaccine prepared from the Thiverval strain and produced on homologous diploid cells. The Thiverval strain is a “cold” mutant of classical swine fever virus obtained by passaging many times in cell culture at low temperature.
 
This Thiverval strain provides:
 -Early induction of immunity (5 to 12 days)
 -High immunogenicity
 -Long-lasting immunity after a single injection (4 to 8 months)
 -Protection against all Hog Cholera variants
 -Absence of pathogenicity
 -No evidence of post vaccination reaction
 -No teratogenicity
 -No effect on fertility or fecundity
 
INDICATIONS
Active immunization of pigs against Classical Swine Fever (Hog Cholera).

50 doses vials (use with vial of 100 ml of diluent)
 
SHELF LIFE
24 months in dry condition, when stored at +2°C to +8°C.
Improper storage of vaccine may cause potency losses.
 
PRECAUTIONS
Satisfactory vaccination can be achieved only in healthy pigs.
Allow an interval of a few days between vaccination against Classical Swine Fever and any other vaccination.
Avoid stress of vaccinated animals up to one week after vaccination.
