A few senior executives from the Breeder Division stepped away from their tight schedule on 2nd March 2016, to take part in a remarkable event. ‘‘Leong Hup Breeder Exclusive Seminar 2016” was co-organized by Ceva Animal Health Malaysia and Agritech Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. with the aim to share and update our knowledge mainly focusing on the breeder segment.

Prof Eddy Decuypere, a captivating and dynamic speaker started the seminar with his title about how to assess the chick quality. Participants had the chance to openly discuss solutions to specific problems and the speaker enjoyed the lively discussion that followed. Besides focusing on chick quality assessment, other interesting topics such as forced molting, sexing prior to hatch, and technical knowledge on incubation were discussed extensively.

Following that, Dr. Roberto Soares, Asia Veterinary Service Manager of Ceva Animal Health Asia shared his topic on how to manage low quality chicks. He has pointed out the important to keep chicks hydrated and dehydration in day old chicks causing intestinal villi spread could eventually increase the risk of getting diarrhea in chicks.

The event was summed up by Dr. Amanda Lim, Area Manager of Ceva Animal Health Malaysia to thank all the participants and organizer teams to make this event happened. ‘‘Leong Hup Exclusive Breeder Seminar 2016” was a successful event and the team is ready to shape each solution towards customer’s specific business ambitions, needs, and challenges.
