On 15th February, Ceva Animal Health Malaysia and Agritech Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. conjunctively organized C.H.I.C.K Day 2017 at Holiday Inn KL Glenmarie. This full-day event received responses from 80 participants throughout Peninsular Malaysia. To start-off the event, Mr. Devan Krishnan from Big Dutchman shared his knowledge and expertise on ventilation practices for both broiler and breeder houses in tropical climate.
The presentation was closely followed by Dr. Marcelo Paniago’s (Ceva Animal Health Asia) detailed elaboration on how to manage post-vaccination reaction and respiratory distress in chicks.
Dr. Jessica Lee (Ceva Animal Health Asia) then explained to the audience about the advantages hatchery vaccination has on impactingbroiler performance compared to field vaccination and the talk was well-complemented together with how hatchery vaccines can be further maximized by in-ovo vaccination presented by Dr. Chalermchai Skulphuek (Ceva Animal Health Asia). For the first time, WikiCEVA was held to further illustrate and answer to the common questions industry has regarding Ceva poultry vaccines.
